Southern BBQ Sauce

Ingredients

1 medium sized onion, finely diced

2 garlic cloves, finely diced

30ml butter

15ml vegetable oil

235ml brown sugar

235ml water

475ml ketchup

10ml prepared mustard

10ml Worcestershire sauce

10ml white vinegar

10ml A1 Steak Sauce/ HP Sauce

Salt

Method

  1. Sauté the onion and garlic in the butter until soft.
  2. Then add all the other ingredients and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
